The inspiration for Luna Nudo Gusta came from the vibrant colors of the Mediterranean. The design incorporates yellow, gold, blue, and green hues, representing the sun, ocean, and landscape. This creates a "garden in the sky" feel, with natural light permeating through the large windows of the facade. On the other hand, Luna Nudo draws inspiration from the glamour and jazz clubs of the 1930s, exuding an air of old-world luxury.

What sets Luna Nudo Gusta apart is its attention to detail and unique properties. The bar plays a pivotal role in the space, with a facade that enhances the overall glam quotient. It features a bar back display with soft lighting, antique mirrors, rich metal finishes, and plush furnishings. The Mediterranean-inspired Luna Gusta incorporates tinted mirrors, rich metal finishes, and soft furnishings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The realization of this design involved a combination of narrative, mood boards, brainstorming, and design inspiration. The result is a 5000 sq. ft. space that exudes elegance and sophistication.

Luna Nudo Gusta serves as a multi-functional space. During the early evening, it functions as a bar where guests can enjoy after-work drinks while watching the sunset through the large glazed windows. On weekends, the bar transforms into a high-energy nightclub. Luna Gusta, on the other hand, is a modern European restaurant that guests can access through the bar, up a dramatic grand staircase, creating an interesting arrival experience.

The Luna Nudo Gusta project started in July 2016 and was completed in October 2016 at the St. Regis Hotel in Mumbai, India. The design team conducted extensive research to ensure that every aspect of the space reflected the desired opulent European chic feel. Customized furniture, bespoke silverware, gold chandeliers, tactile wallpaper, and comfortable seating were carefully selected to create a luxurious ambiance.

The design team faced several challenges during the project. One of the main challenges was incorporating the new design into an existing space with a strong identity. The objective was to amalgamate both spaces while maintaining their unique identities. Another challenge was executing the design within a limited timeframe in an already fully functional hotel.

Luna Nudo Gusta has received recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
